Accessibility statement.
This website is built with accessibility as a structural priority, consistent with the standard it represents.
Standards followed
The website inclusivelivingstandard.com is designed to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. The implementation addresses:
- Semantic HTML structure for assistive technologies.
- Sufficient color contrast across all text and interactive elements.
- Keyboard navigability throughout the site.
- Descriptive link text and alt attributes on informational images.
- Responsive design that supports zoom and reflow on assistive contexts.
- Focus indicators on all interactive elements.
- Compatibility with major screen readers and browsers.
- A skip-to-content link on every page, so keyboard users can bypass the navigation.
- Focus is never trapped: the mobile menu closes with the Escape key and returns focus to the button that opened it.
- Links inside body text are underlined, so they are distinguishable without relying on colour.
- Support for the reduced-motion preference and for operating system high contrast mode.
Limitations and ongoing work
Web accessibility is a continuous process. Where third-party content (embeds, externally hosted media) is included, full conformance cannot always be guaranteed. We work to address such cases as they arise.
